Florida Oceanfront Land For Sale

A rare opportunity to own 130 feet of direct oceanfront land in a great location!

Now is the time to build your brand new multi-million dollar luxury home on one of the most affordably priced lots on the east coast of Florida.

Offered at $1,950,000

You have just discovered the best oceanfront lot for your new Florida luxury home, read on:
(Home pictured has been layered on top of this EMPTY LOT that is for sale.)

No Finer Spot to Live

On the highest crest of land on the ocean front, you'll build your dream home on this the largest buildable ocean front lot available today in the Daytona Beach area, from as far south as Ponce Inlet all the way to Palm Coast.Â

The legal plat lines define one full acre of Atlantic Ocean front ownership, with three-fourths of that acre behind your legally secured seawall, with measurements of 130' frontage by 240' depth from street to seawall.

The lot lines are drawn at an angle so that your full frontage faces to the East while all other ocean lots square off to face slightly to the northwest. What this means is that you'll build your home with maximum use of the side setbacks, giving you the maximum living space opportunity AND have all windows on the oceanfront and south walls enjoy the best and longest exposure to sunrise and tracking the sun all day as it arcs through our skies - overhead in summer and from a definite southeast angle during the fall and winter.

There is nothing - absolutely nothing - that approaches the feelings of awe and self-activation by the ever-changing dawns of the Atlantic and having absolutely nothing - but a broad and quiet beach - between you, your cup of coffee and this dramatically and rapidly evolving horizon, skyline and hugely powerful sea.

The ocean can be still and calm - with slow rollers rising gently up out of the calm, bringing the ever-present lines of pelicans, delicately and with one wing tip practically scoring a line in the swell floating along the wave, looking through the back-lit water for their fish prey. Having spotted their prey, you'll watch these graceful but powerful birds rise up to as high as 50 to 100 feet, float for a moment and then tuck everything in behind that powerful, spear-like beak and plunge straight down into a monumental impact with the ocean to strike and catch their morning's meal.

On other mornings, weather as far as hundreds of miles away can send powerful, multi-break waves crashing into the shore and you'll be truly impressed by Nature's force and power.

In either "format", the skyline at dawn is different - every day. One cannot describe it sufficiently - you'll have to experience it for yourself!!

Lot Orientation and Location

The local Chamber of Commerce calls our beaches generally "The World's Most Famous Beach"...and with good reason. These are the beaches where cars once raced, to the south of this home lot and where Malcolm Bell took a car to the unheard of speed of .... Miles an hour...where NASCAR and its now explosive-growth Sprint Cup racing series was born.

This lot is particularly well located on our beach: with no condo towers or hotels nearby to the north and the south; with this home lot centrally located among 30 or so other homes, you can count on looking across empty stretches of beaches morning to night, with the occasional tourists/locals enjoying their own beach walk and searching for sea shells...and, yes, the occasional car slowly touring on the ONLY driving beach in the world! (Trust me, as quiet as the ocean and the beach can be, you'll love seeing the variety of folks and vehicles who move past your ocean deck as they enjoy briefly what you "own" forever!)

Our stretch of beach is flat and firm at the water's edges, particularly broad at low tide (as much as 50 yards wide!) and soft and grainy at the foot of your sea wall. We've found that the flat and firm nature of the beach makes it the VERY BEST for walking or running - i.e. firm but sufficiently "giving" and, unlike almost every other beach on the Atlantic, without knee/ankle-injuring tilt down to the water so that running without injury is not only possible but an assured result.

This lot is located in the ONLY remaining stretch of residential real estate on the ocean in the Daytona Beach city limits - and will remain so forever, given the significant investments being made in new-built and renewal home construction in this neighborhood. High rise condos are far to the north and south of this property and so your views of sun and moon in the day and night skies will remain unimpeded.

Neighborhood

The neighborhood is a very short drive from the finest shopping center on the Atlantic highway in the area - period. Anchored by a Bealls and Bealls Outlet as well as a huge Publix grocery store, names such as Starbuck's, Blockbuster, Quiznos, UPS and Ruby Tuesday are on the center directory, as well as a host of locally owned favorites like Berties Luncheonette and even a full service bowling center!

Also within close proximity are the restaurants of choice of most of the Daytona area tourists and locals - including Olive Garden, Bone Fish Grill, Red Lobster, TGI Friday, Outback Steakhouse, Noah's Deli, Peach Valley Café, Charley Horse and the very popular, locally-headquartered and fast growing Stonewood Grill .

"Downtown Daytona" is a short drive to the south on A1A and there you and your visiting family and friends will find all the fun activities one can imagine, including Ocean Walk with its 10-screen cinema, Bubba Gump and other restaurants, the Hilton Hotel and it fine-dining, the doubly-enlarged Convention Center with shows and sports, the Peabody Conservatory with a wide range of theater and concert offerings ....and even a fully-equipped Water Park!

We have some BIG events here in our area - ones that everyone has heard about but until experienced "as a local" one cannot appreciate the size and fun that Bike Week, Biketoberfest and, of course, Speed Weeks with the now the world's BIGGEST automotive sporting event, NASCAR's famous Daytona 500.

Centrally Located Daytona

Daytona Beach is centrally located on the north/central Florida coast relative to a wide array of attractions and wonderful places to which to day-trip. Only one hour to the south, straight down I-95 (no, unlike from Miami to Palm Beach, OUR "95" is not a parking lot but more a race track!) such that you'll watch the launches from your breakfast deck on the ocean, is the Kennedy Space Center with what might be the finest approach to touring - with the ability to move through in an hour or, much more fun, spend an entire day, all the while moving from venue to venue at a pace all your own.

Also just over an hours drive down I-4 is Orlando with the world's busiest tourist airport serving the most famous venues in Disney World, Universal Studios and SeaWorld...and all the related restaurants and attractions that can provide days - not hours - of fun and adventure for you and your visiting family and friends from "up north"! There are three different high speed highways to get to Disney et al, as they are on the south side of the city of Orlando and thus your new home makes a convenient jumping off spot for the kids and grandkids and saves the hefty costs of hotels in that busy, crowded area.

And for the SHOPPERS in the family, there is a mall unmatched by any in the country but for the Malls of America in Atlanta and Minneapolis: Orlando's huge and stylish The Mall at Millenia. Soaring architecture, high tech digital displays/music, valet parking all serve the world famous name shops and the anchors of Nieman Marcus, Bloomingdales and Macy's. For the finest in boutique shopping and dining, there is world famous Winter Park between here and that Mall.

It should be noted that the "megalopolis" of Orlando is growing - "moving up" I-4 to the north and bringing ever closer a growing selection of restaurants and entertainment options for those of us who otherwise enjoy the trade off of traffic headaches in our own neighborhoods for the peace and quiet we enjoy in our Daytona Beach area.

The most amazing road trip in our area is literally minutes away: The Loop. Now designated a Florida Tourist Highway, the Loop provides a wonderful look at the beautiful homes being built on the Intracoastal Waterway and then takes you and your passengers back in time as you wind your way through the Intracoastal wet lands.

A short (45 minutes) and beautiful drive up A1A, taking you through old-time Flagler Beach with its quaint fishing pier (we've got two others for you - a short walk on the beach to your south is Main Street Pier and a short southern drive on A1A takes you to Sunglow Pier and Crabby Joe's, a great all-meals "shack" restaurant where you watch the waves pound through the piers right under your feet!) and through explosive growth/high-dollar cost Palm Coast, through fascinating Crescent Beach and the "first ever" sea life theme park, Marineland, up to the Oldest City in the United States: St. Augustine.

This is a marvelous day trip in a city built to serve tourists and help them go back in time to the days of Spanish conquest and life. Things to do include walking down the cobblestoned St. Georges Street with its many art and crafts shops, riding in the horse or tram drawn cars to see all the city in just an hour or so, eating lunch or dinner in the many old and new restaurants (including lovely and "typico" Columbia Restaurant) and touring the beautiful art in the shop just off the lobby of the famous and beautifully restored Casa Monica Hotel.

Each of these will be tough choices for you to face every time your family or friends let you know they're coming down for another visit!
